Blessed

I am so lucky to have been blessed with such wonderful friends! I had a very nice surprise early this morning from my friend Kara. She read my blog and saw my camera was broken and she loaned me one of her cameras to use until I get mine back! THANKS KARA! AND, she brought me a caramel frappucino from Starbucks to boot! What more could you ask for in a friend? That was a nice surprise! I think the caffeine helped me to get my lines finished for the week too! :-)

Tonight I attended the Ducks Unlimited Women's Banquet. It was fun. Although I was a little irritated that I didn't win anything! I spent more money than I have at a banquet on raffle tickets and came home with nothing. There were 3 raffles that I was just one number off. The past couple of years I have won a couple different things so I guess that's a good thing to remember for next year! It seems like each year there is one woman who is lucky lucky lucky and wins big. They had a new raffle this year which was fun. They had 5 fancy shmancy purses to raffle, and one lucky purse was holding a ticket for a free rifle. One old lady won 3 of the 5 purses! AND, the odds are pretty good to win the rifle, and she did. I don't think she knew what was going on, or that she had won BIG! LOL! It was pretty funny. One man that works at the DU office won one of the other purses so that was pretty funny too. The MC gave him quite a hard time and I'm sure everyone will know about it tomorrow at work!

Boy Scout popcorn has arrived so I will be seeing some of you within the next couple of days delivering popcorn! Thanks for supporting Gage and his Cub Scout group. (By the way, the caramel popcorn is delicious!)
