What was I thinking?

I screwed up! Can you believe it? :-) I didn't realize when I signed Emma up for spring soccer and also for T-ball that the 2 events will be happening at the same time! Not to mention that I signed Gage up for Lower Minors baseball, which means I have 3 events happening at the same time! UGH! I didn't realize it until yesterday when we started getting phone calls from the soccer and baseball coaches that the seasons completely overlap.

Emma had her first soccer practice tonight at 6:30. She had alot of fun. One of her good friends, Emily Just, is on her team so she is excited about that. There are a few other Kindergarten girls from Northridge on the team as well, but they are in different classrooms. Due to all of the snow/flooding we missed a few weeks of soccer apparently. Her first game is on Saturday morning at 9:30. On Friday Emma's T-ball team will be meeting for team pictures and uniform distribution and will practice next Tuesday at 6:30. Hmmm..........yes, there is a problem with that. Emma's soccer practices will always be on Tuesday at 6:30 and I'm praying Gage's baseball practice isn't always going to fall on Tuesday at 6:30. I guess with that conflict, if Scott is in town, I should be okay as we can both go different directions. Now I just need to find out what days and time Emma's T-ball team will be practicing and playing to see what's going to happen. I hope it's a different day. I'm sure you are thinking that it would just be easier to take Emma out of one of the activities, but with baseball for Gage and Emma and soccer for Emma, I have $235 invested that I don't want to waste. I'm sure by the time the seasons are over, I will have learned a little lesson here! (I hope so anyway!)

Our summer is looking pretty busy. I said that keeps me out of trouble, didn't I? We'll see!

Try scheduling summer activities for four kids!! Actually it's going okay-I try to get them at the same times if I can-I managed to get my 10 year old and 4 year old daughters' tennis at the same time but it is hard keeping track of all the sports things and camps, etc. I write everything down in my planner so I don't forget to go to something or sign them up for different events at the same time. Hope things work out for you.
